We're on a mission to make finding a reliable tradesperson as fast and stress-free as possible — with clear verification information when a professional has completed our checks.
Kwiktrade was founded in 2026 with a simple but powerful idea: homeowners deserved a better way to find trustworthy tradespeople fast — especially in emergencies.
We'd all been let down by unreliable tradespeople or spent hours searching online with no idea who to trust. So we built a platform around clearer verification, job-linked reviews and a simpler way to request help, with emergency jobs built around a 60-minute response target.
Kwiktrade connects homeowners with tradespeople across the United Kingdom — Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland — covering everything from emergency plumbing and gas engineering to locksmiths, electricians and beyond.
Kwiktrade is a two-sided marketplace connecting UK homeowners with professional tradespeople, with verification status clearly shown on profiles.
Whether you need an emergency fix or planned work, request emergency help or post a job for quotes. We alert relevant tradespeople, show verification information clearly, and keep messaging, updates and reviews linked to the job.
Join Kwiktrade to build your professional profile, receive relevant job alerts in your area, showcase your work and build a reputation through completed jobs and customer feedback.
Everything we build at Kwiktrade comes back to these four principles.
We built Kwiktrade because emergencies don't wait. Our emergency journey is built around a 60-minute response target, with live updates once a tradesperson accepts.
Tradespeople who complete and pass our document checks receive a clear Verified Badge, so homeowners can see who has been reviewed by Kwiktrade.
From homeowners to hardworking tradespeople, we're proud to support a thriving community built on honesty, transparency and great work.
We monitor reviews, investigate complaints and can take action where our standards or platform policies are not being met.
